WO~MENS HAVEN
Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.2.1 · Effective 31 August 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of your agreement with WO~MENS HAVEN alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Returns & Refunds Policy. It applies to all users, including members, verified nurses, and verified doctor vendors, when using our mobile application, website, peer-support rooms, private nurse messaging, short-lived story updates, Live Spaces, consultation booking, messaging, and payment features.
2. Permitted use
You may use the Platform only for lawful community peer support, private Ask-a-nurse guidance as offered, participation in Live Spaces as educational sessions (not diagnosis or emergency care), and for booking legitimate telehealth consultations with verified independent doctors, in accordance with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and (for doctors) applicable provider terms.
3. Marketplace and membership payments
Doctor consultation fees are paid by members through our payment partner (Paystack) to WO~MENS HAVEN as marketplace operator. We record a disclosed platform fee (currently 25% of the session fee) and the doctor's professional fee (currently 75%). Premium membership and optional clinician Live Spaces hosting packs are billed only through Apple App Store or Google Play. Doctor earnings are held on the Platform's ledger until completion and any hold, then paid out only to the doctor's registered bank or mobile-money account upon approved withdrawal. No peer-to-peer wallet transfers. Payment features may be used only for authorized WO~MENS HAVEN bookings, memberships, and disclosed in-app purchases.
4. Prohibited use
You must not: harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or discriminate against others; share others' private information without consent (doxxing, unauthorized screenshots or recordings of rooms, stories, Live Spaces, or nurse DMs); impersonate any person or misrepresent credentials (especially medical licensing); provide or solicit medical services without proper verification where required; abuse complimentary nurse messages or fair-use/post limits; use the Platform for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or illegal transactions; attempt to evade platform or membership fees; upload malware, spam, scams, or sexual content involving minors; circumvent security, access controls, Premium entitlements, or another user's account; use automated scraping or bulk data extraction without permission; or transfer or attempt to transfer account balances, earnings, or payment credits to another user.
5. Vendor (doctor) and nurse obligations
Doctors must complete our application process, upload valid credentials, and consent to license verification and background checks before listing. Verified doctors must maintain valid licenses, accurate profile information, professional conduct, and compliance with telehealth and data-protection requirements. Verified nurses must provide supportive guidance only, refer clinical questions appropriately, and not present nurse DMs as diagnosis or emergency care. False credentials or serious misconduct may result in immediate delisting and withholding of pending doctor payouts where permitted by law and our policies.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts, withhold or reverse payouts where permitted by law and our policies, and report illegal activity to authorities.
7. Reporting
Report violations to [email protected]. Safety emergencies require local emergency services, not the Platform.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted on our website and/or in-app.
